Chilly...Did Someone Say 'Chili?' + Giveaway

It's been pretty chilly around here lately and I'm lovin' it! I love stepping outside and smelling fireplaces burning. As such, I just came across some of my old Garbage Pail Kids cards and it seemed fitting so I thought I would share.

And speaking of sharing, click on the Garbage Pail Kid card to see what you can win. If you'd like to be entered in the drawing, please e-mail me with the subject "Chilly" and I will put your name in the drawing. I will be giving away two pair, so you have twice the chance of winning! I'll announce the winners on Monday, November 27th. Good luck!

*P.s. They're unisex and adjustable. And yes, they're my favorite color: orange! Oh, and if you're concerned that they might not fit you, don't be. I have a Charlie Brown-sized head (buying sunglasses is a bitch!) and they fit me just fine. Truly a one-size-fits-all!

Very disturbing image. I'm sure "Meltin' Elton" is some deep metaphore for the duality of man, but that isn't making me feel any better about it! :-)

I love my ear covers... whoever thought of it should be a millionaire, because until they came along a guy could get the crap beaten out of him for wearing ear muffs.

Dave-
Lke the Dalai Lama says “Not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.”

Oh man, so do I! I'd never seen them until last year and the only other "earmuffs" I could find were some froufrou ones obviously made for the "girl power" crowd. I remember, growing up, that the more stuff you wore in the winter (regardless how practical) was considered "lame." Now I have zero qualms about any of it. My neck gets cold really easily, so I own lots of scarfs. The only thing that still seems to come with a built-in stigma is the ski mask, WHICH I would wear, but I know I'd be mondo self-conscience the whole time. I guess some things never change.
