Jon Stewart Fights Crossfire With Fire

Daily Show anchor Jon Stewart browbeats CNN's Tucker Carlson over journalism ethics on Crossfire. If you're familiar with the way in which the show is run, one commentator from the "Left" and one commentator from the "Right" basically interrogate their guests on various issues. Conservative commentator, Tucker Carlson was relentless in his barrage of constant "rapidfire" insults (calling Stewart "John Kerry's buttboy," etc.), but Stewart managed to maintain his composure and counteract all of Carlson's bullshit effortlessly. It was a great thing to see:

Stewart: You know, the interesting thing is, you have a responsibility to the public discourse, and you fail miserably.
Carlson: You need to get a job in a journalism school, I think.
Stewart: You need to go to one.

And, of course, the highlight that everyone is talking about:

Carlson: I do think your more fun on your show. It's just my opinion.
Stewart: You know what's interesting , though? You're as big a dick on your show as you are on any show.

The audience was loving Jon and his quick wit responses. As you can see, I was mystified as to why Carlson looked as if he was wearing eyeshadow. What's that about? You'd think the bowtie would be embarassing enough.

How old is Stewart. Is it too early to start the Jon Stewart for President 2008 campaign? Whether he wants it or not.

Hey Rick! Jon Stewart is 42 years old. The perfect ago to be sworn into office. He gets my vote!

I'll start making the election posters now.
