Halloween Week TV Schedule Uploaded

Hey all you crazy kids out there in BlogLand! As you know, Halloween is just around the corner, so with that in mind, I've taken it upon myself to create a TV listing of all the great Halloween goodies that will be on TV all this week. The schedule begins today at 6PM and goes through Sunday, October 31st. Whether you're a cartoon fan, classic horror movies, slashers, true ghost stories or whatever, there's something there for everyone. Be sure to check your local listings for time and channel. All times listed are CST (where I live, natch).

Tonight at 7PM is It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on ABC. If you miss that one, the Great Pumpkin won't rise outta the pumpkin patch and bring you toys! Click here to get the schedule. Feel free to print it out and keep it by the ol' remote control.

P.s. More Halloween blogging coming tomorrow!

I couldn't agree more, though I have a few more TV/movie traditions for each holiday:
Halloween-
It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Raggedy Ann & Andy and The Pumpkin Who Couldn't Smile

Christmas-
A Christmas Story
A Christmas Carol(in some form)
A Muppet Family Christmas
'Twas The Night Before Christmas (animated: the version where all the people have enormous front teeth)

I think just about everyone I know loves A Christmas Story. I still associate Peter Billingsley with 3 things: [1] Messy Marvin (chocolate milk commercial), [2] the TV show Real People (he hosted for a few years) and [3] A Christmas Story. So weird to think he co-produced a movie with one of my favorite actors (Vince Vaughn) in it: Made, not to mention the TV show Trigger Happy TV on Comedy Central. Too weird!

And, of course, Darren McGavin will forever be Kolchak: The Night Stalker, for me!

I love the "fragile" quote! That lamp! LMAO! You know they actually manufacture and sell that thing now. I've even seen strings of mini lights shaped like that damn leg lamp! lol!

Hi Eric!

I agree! The classics never get old. I, too watch all the Rankin Bass claymation Christmas specials (Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming To Town (I love Burgermeister Meisterburger!!), etc. Good times! And speaking of Rankin Bass, it just wouldn't be Halloween without watching Mad Monster Party!

Thanks for stoppin' by!
