Boo Fuckin' Hoo

I got a kick out of this post over at Scheiss Weekly. Apparently it hit too close to home for "Gary M".

Personally, it was nice to see another normal human being out there who also sees the majority of today's kidnap fodder for the uneducated, undisciplined spawn that they are. Sure, not all kids are ignorant and unruly. Those kids' parents DID their job. All without crying "chemical imbalance" or conveniently avoiding the subject of actual time spent on discipline and education.

And incidentally, comparing your obvious lack of parenting skills to someone with a skin disease who voluntarily eats in public places, there's a big difference. You have a CHOICE whether you release your lack of parenting skills on an unsuspecting public or leave them with a babysitter. And when you make that choice and then are hurt, saddened or upset by other's lack of "compassion" and/or "understanding," remind yourself you consciously put yourself and your family in that position. Don't expect everyone else in the restaurant, grocery store, department store, etc. to gather around you, listen to your overwrought excuses and sing Kumbaya to you until you drift off to dreamland, 'cause it's not gonna happen.

Invest in babysitters. Invest in medication. Invest in therapists, whatever you need to get the job done, but don't expect me to shed a tear when you scream "self-absorbed asshole," simply because you didn't hold up your end of the parenting bargain. It's assholes like you that give good parents and their well-behaved children a bad name. And the saddest part of all is that your kid will never know the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behavior because mommy and daddy will forever be making excuses on their behalf while continually searching for someone else to blame.

Hi HG!

Yeah, I agree it is pretty sad (and says volumes about the person) when they jump the gun to get so worked up over someone else's OPINION. But, it did prove for some pretty dramalicious blogging, huh? Those crazy kids!

BTW, you're blog is supa coo! Great images, too!

Thanks for stoppin' by!
